anybody know the official name of the seat backs and side metal for 67 barracuda and dart seats? I have a set of white seat backs and sides out of a 67 cuda convertable and Im want to look these up and see what theyre worth but I cant find anything about them and any for sale anywhere.

thats what i figured they were called but ive searched through dozens of sites and ive found nothing. Do anyone sell these or restamp these? this is kind of aggravating to say the least. I mean i cant even find a single article even talking about them. I have a 68 dart and i will more than likely convert my seats to a 68 style. So I want to sell the 67 trim pieces but i have no idea what i should ask for them. if anybody has any ideas i would welcome them. Thanks

I have never seen a post even looking for them. I have a feeling that those are just an item that never gets destroyed and that makes a slim market for them.

It's just weird because you would think that I could find some on eBay or some kind of parts warehouse. Guess I'm just gonna have to pick a few old mopar brains.

Here are some threads that might be of some interest. Reading the threads 66 and 67 appear to be similar and the exact differences is spelled out in one of the threads. Nothing directly answers your question but the last post is a set of 66 backs that were for sale.

I've heard the lower trim pieces called dress shields before. They keep a ladies dress out of the track mechanisms. Buckets without console got 4 of those. I've seen them bought and sold here and ebay. They rust, get dented, the vinyl skin gets scared.
Somebody will want them if they are mint.
I paid 50 bucks for a single NOS back in metallic red a long time ago. I may never need to replace one but if I do...
Hope this helps.

There worth what someone is willing to pay. A lot of people put racing seats or late model seats in. If someone is doing restoration and needs them then there worth something. I don't think anyone repops them.

thanks guys. I may just drag em with me to the next swap meet and see if someone will take em off my hands.
