Thanks for the Welcome!

We pulled a 1968 notchback out of a barn in Northern California last year. It had been sitting for about 5 years. Slant six car with 3 on the tree. Focus has been getting it running again... gas tank, tune up, clutch. New wiring harness in progress and V8 & 5 spd swaps planned in the future.

Welcome. Nothing like an F8 green 68-69 Barracuda. It looks like it cleaned up pretty well. My 69 is F8 green too.

Thanks! We love the green. It really came back around by just using some Griot's Finishing Sealant.

There are a lot of polishes and detailing products out there. My favorite is Griots. I bought one of their polishing kits that included the random orbital polisher, polishing pads, polishing compounds and a few other cleaners. The polisher still works great. The only Griots thing I don't use is their wax. I have found something I like a lot better. I use Blackfire Ceramic coating. I have "waxed" cars with it and had it beading (actually sheeting) water two years later. It's a bit of a pain to use, but in the long run it is worth it.
