Down to cleaning up and details the small stuff. Painted the interior trim black (was green). Cleaned heater valve and clear coated it. Hoping to get the headliner and windows in soon.

Cleaned up more parts like the rear view mirror, trim pieces and painted more small items. Got all side glass installed this past weekend. Ordered the mass backing carpet from Stock Interiors which should be here the end of the week as well as the door sill plates, door lock ferrules and knobs and front and rear window seals. I still need to order a tinted windshield but it might be a week or two. Noticed Classic Auto had 25% off last week so I got the woodgrain steering wheel kit. Also got the headliner and rear package tray in. The headliner wrinkles will come out after I get all the trim in.

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!

Oh man that is one nice ‘69! Your attention to detail is the best. Cant wait to see the drivetrain and interior installed

Carpet is in, side glass is in and adjusted, front seat and steering wheel are in. Waiting for a taillight harness so I can get the back seat in. Hoping the glass guy can set the windshield and rear window in this week so I can wrap up the interior panels and trim.

looking good....where do I buy carpet that lays flat like that... right out of the box?

Thank you Denny! I ordered it from stock interiors. It’s the mass backing which seems to lay down more flat, however, they made it and had it shipped to me in a couple days so that helped a ton not having it in a box for days, weeks or years.

Got all of the glass in last Wednesday then i installed all the brake lines and proportioning valve today.

Tomorrow the correct length push rods will be here then on Friday I should have the quarter window roller, dimmer switch, and tail light harness so I can button up the Interior.

CrOoks, I think it's safe to say that the progress on my Dart (Dottie Rae) is at least a few weeks behind that gorgeous project of yours. Thank you for the motivation too!

I see you also went with an RMS front suspension. What are you doing with the shock mount locations in the engine compartment? I ask because I see a white substance in there and given the level of detail you've shown so far I have a hard time believing you forgot them. I am planning to weld them up.

I must apologize in advance, as I work through my issues with Dottie I will probably become a pain in the *** with my constant questions!

I actually have the Control Freaks IRS. As for the factory shock mount towers I thought I got enough paint in there to hide everything but I didn't. I might try to air brush some paint in there. My plan is to cut off the shaft of the factory shocks and bolt them in with the factory washers and rubber bushings to make it look like it has shocks installed to give it the factory look from the top side.

Thank you sir and looking forward to your build!

Got the correct pushrods from Manton and installed last Wednesday and got the engine sat in Saturday. Jason aka F5 Duster swing by tonight and helped me stab the transmission! Thank you Jason for the help it’s greatly appreciated! I sat it in the ground to see how is sits and it’s really close! I’ve got to lean the tops of the front tires in then it’ll sit a tad lower up front.

All the brake lines are on and bled, emergency cables are on and adjusted and i started laying the wiring harness out up front.

Looks like I’m going to have to put a scooped hood on it whereas the top of the carb is flush with the tops of the fenders. I like the Hemi hoods but don’t like how the motor isn’t centered in the opening so I’m not real happy right now. I’ve got an old Torker intake on it without a spacer so I expected it to clear. It could be the difference from a stock kmember to my tubular setup.
