Been a while since my last update, but these hands have been busy here and there!
It's been a race against time to get the car in primer before winter hits, we sure came close!

- Cut all the rust out of the quarter panel/wheel well areas
- Made new sheet metal and welded it in place
- Addressed the beat up dented areas
- Primed and block sanded lots and lots
- Filled all the side trim holes along the entire body, both doors, and both fenders
- Fixed the driver door mechanism so the door can be opened from outside now like its supposed to
- Fixed the inside of the driver door area above the door panels, it was completely dented up and caved in
- Tomorrow We're going to paint the new hood, ditch the old one, and put the new on. Hotrod Black for the hood and dual scoops.

No big updates, cold weather made it impossible to do much. I installed my A-Pillars today and got my Windshield wiper switch working though. I also cleaned off the hood and snapped a few pics so y'all can see the paint job in better lighting. Ill have the scoops painted and installed soon.

Been a good while since i Posted an update so for starters, Almost everything that was done on this car up until about 3 months ago has been completely 100% gutted. I don't want to get into why, but ill just say there was still alot of cobbling discovered and so i made a judgement call that the motor, trans, driveshaft, brake lines, fuel system/lines, and all wiring was getting ripped out of the car.

We stripped the car down basically to a rolling chassis and removed the fenders doors hood all the glass (except front windshield) and restarted the bodywork as well. The original plan was just gnna be to prime it, scuff it and paint it and run it a bit ratty. We decided the car deserved better than that so back to the beginning.

The bodywork on the car itself is now complete as long as we dont find any missed spots when we guide coat and block the car. Fenders and doors are prepped, they just need 220 sanded and fresh primer.

I also scored a 360 magnum motor which we tore down and started going through. The short block is ready and has been painted. Heads are at the machineshop getting minor work done. We contacted Lunati about a custom grind cam to meet our needs.

Engine bay has been prepped and painted "Hotrod Black" We decided the 2 toned look would make the Grabber green painted engine and heads Pop. Car will also be painted very close to Grabber Green. No vinyl top going back on, whole car will be body color minus the hood and dual scoops which are hotrod black.

did some patch work on the floor pans, they werent very rough at all, just small pin holes really. Also started the trunk patches. When the interior is done well be bed lining the floor and the interior of the trunk before carpet goes down.

Bodywork is officially DONE. entire car is now under primer and will be delivered to to Wicked Customz for final blocking and a badass paint job in metallic "Green With Envy" I have been fighting this for ages. What a wonderful feeling to know soon all the late nights long days and pretty pennys will be visible very soon! Never give up!

Ending up putting the dash back to black, we felt it was a more aggressive look. Also blacked out the grill and tinted the integral lights in the grill. The plan is to take the actual dash trm and have it custom hydro dipped. Were going for more of the custom hotrod look as opposed to a plain factory resto. Will piss off some of the purists but I'm makin it mine.

Need to paint engine compartment body color
Nope. Its going black. Engine block and Heads going green, intake valve covers and air cleaner going black, plug wires going green, and all accents will follow green/black theme. All "chrome" trim will also go black.

Some updates from the painter. the door jams, bottom half of the deck lid, and interior side of the doors are all painted. This weekend hell be doing the valance panels, and both fenders. We put the doors and deck lid back on the car and everything will be taped off and the whole body minus fenders/valances will be painted together. Im in love with this gorgeous deep green. Its got silver, yellow, and green metallic flake in it as well as some pearl. Looks amazing. Im extremely excited to see the body all in paint.

So I thought the color was sexy indoors inside the kinda half-*** lit garage. Heres what it looks like outside in the sun :O :O :O :O
Also these pics are as sprayed, no buffing done yet and it's already a sheet of glass.

Cars done being painted cut and buffed finally :D Man the pearl in this color does some crazy shiite.
Depending on the lighting and where you stand this car looks sooo nuts.
These shoddy cellphone Pictures just do not capture it right. So nice in person.

And before anyone makes a comment...I know. The wheels/Tires are covered in overspray.
They're sacrificial and wont be being used on the car, they're just place holders until assembly is finished.
Probably sandblast em and paint them back to mopar argent silver and then sell them to someone who can use em.

Next up the car will be towed back to the garage and we will start reassembly.
Mechanically everything will be brand new except the motor/tranny which are both being rebuilt.
1998 360 magnum with Eddelbrock intake 4bbl carb, and rebuilt 727 Torquflite with shift kit.
New brake calipers, pads, rotors, lines
New radiator, hoses trans cooler ext.
New fuel pump, sending unit, lines, tank ext.
New carburetor, probably a Holley double pumper 750
New battery relocated to the trunk
Brand new painless wiring from head to tail
New steering column
New LED Headlights
New interior doo rpanels, headliner, carpet
New Digital Gauges, New modern radio, Backup camera, Cell charger ports ext.

This car will probably piss off a lot of purists...but it was a factory /6 car.
Nothing is numbers matching. It will never be a high dollar car so I'm making it mine.

I like it! Glad you did the restoration you wanted to do. I'm looking at your quarter panel repair and thinking maybe I'll save the money on the driver's side and buy a whole quarter for the passenger side and both rockers. I really have to screw up my resolve when I see these bright green beauties. It's always been my favorite shade. For now I'm sticking with F3 though!

The car looks great!

if im not mistaken AMD makes a lower quarter patch panel and its pretty affordable. I wouldn't buy a whole quarter unless it really needed it. that's a lot of work! The F3 green isnt a bad color. I decided if i was repainting the entire car i was gonna go with something BOLD. My other choice was that sexy Burnt Orange theyre putting on some of the newer Dodge RAM's
