Heres 275 and 18x9 on mine. SO do you have like an inch in and an inch out of room to spare?

What is your ride height at?
Measured from the ground to the bottom of your frame in the engine bay.

Transmission cross member has been made. Easy install and removal, it slides in from the back side and stops where it needs to be when it hits the front gusset.

I think it turned out pretty good.

Now we can take the tranny out and finish the tunnel.

looks like your not as low as hes planning to run just looking at the pics.

Im trying to get 23in from ground to top of fender opening with a 26in tall front tire. 18's in front 28in tall on 20's in rear

Nice dash, still waiting on mine.... Decided to buy a part instead of making it.....I'll give my water jet a break on this one. Is it a quality piece like it looks to be?

They are not finish welded from the front? They looked it in all the pictures I have seen of them.

Nope.

The piece over all looks pretty nice (minus the spot welding). I'm waiting to see how it fits before I make any final judgement on the product.

I can see light around the cups from the back side. Its only tac welded.
If it fits in the car good, I can deal with the tac welds easy enough.

That still looks nice. I was expecting something a little worse. As you already know, those tacks should hold just fine. It is a very nice looking piece for the dash.

What gaps there are, are slivers, and not noticeable. I've got no complaints with the quality.
I assumed it was going to be fully welded, and we all know what happens when one assumes something...

Hopefully get it fitted in the dash this week.

After reading about thegaps with light showing through, I have another thought ....what about some aluminum JB weld or similar product and seal the light gap and help out the spot welds in the strenght area.

Strength on that dash will not be a concern. Light should not be an issue either when your gauges are mounted. Where would the light come from? The Blinkers?

I was thinking the same thing ...... your not going to have any light coming through there but just the same for piece of mind you could use some caulking. Just a thought. :thumblef:

Not concerned about the light in the gaps. It was a reference to show it was just tac welded.
I want to make sure that the cups are attached good enough that I never ever have to worry about them.

27.5x19 Griffin radiator is mounted. Think it turned out nice.
