i previously posted a thread on the build when my dad and i started it last year, once done i tradded my dad the 71 for his restored 68 dart. from there i built a killer street/strip car out of the 68, but lost interest quick and kept thinking about the 71 we built.

so as luck has it, my dad was in the process of restoring his orig 340/4spd duster, and decided that he was going to sell the dart. the deal upon trading was i got dibs if the car ever went up for sale, so i fire sale the 68 and purchased the 71 dart from him.

i sold the 340 out of the 71, because i had kept the 408 stroker out of my 68 dart.

plans are bigger wheels, redo the fuel system with bigger pump and line, wilwood brakes, after market pistol grip shifter, and i had a roller cam installed in the stroker, should be good for almost 600hp now (dyno numbers soon) ive since got a spool type cross member, bigger torsion bars, manual steering, 3" exaust, bigger sway bar, and a set of caltracs. the rearend has been narrowed 6 inches, and the car minni tubbed,
