I have a 71 Dart /6 with A/C and was wondering if the heater cores are the same for a car with or without A/C. I am only finding one heater core and it is not asking if the car has A/C or not.

My 1969 Dart had a different heater core for AC, as I recall. It sits aft of the evaporator, so needs longer tubes. Of course, I don't know about 1972.

67-72 use the same heater box and core. The a/c is a seperate add on box that gets bolted to the heater box. The answer is yes

I'll change my vote to "yes, the same". After thinking more, I remember having to remove the AC evaporator (vent Freon) to get to the heater core, so the heater core was closest to the firewall. That job was long ago and the car was later stolen.

probably the best way to find out in this instance. Call a parts store and ask for one.
Their computer will tell them to ask if you have a/c or not
