If there is a factory 440 4 spd car there is no sense in saying its a Hemi 4 spd because thats the only way they came. Adding Hemi just muddies the waters.....

oh, the 1955 Chrysler Hemi must've been a special time machine model... cuz hoochie coochie man came out in January 7, 1954
I believe it was May when it hit the Detroit stations. And believe it or not they were still playing it in Sept. of 54 when she got it. No comas needed.

Funny thing about commas..

1. If you were advertising your car for sale for 1000000 ??

2. ".... It was a number matching 71 Charger R/T Hemi 4 speed dana 60 car. "

See what a few well placed commas would have done?

" ...It was a numbers matching, 1971 Charger R/T, Hemi 4-speed, Dana 60 car.

More than me were mislead by this. (Not saying you did it intentionally by the way)

Insulting 340six for pointing this out is not the way to go here.

As with every other topic on this site, in my humble opinion, learn something new/useful and use it in the future.

O RLY? radio stations continued to play music after its initial release? that's crazy!

interesting though, i didn't know that chrysler had a model called "hemi". i mean, i know about the windsor and the imperials and new yorkers but never heard of that "hemi" model.

No comas needed.
i would certainly hope not!

i mean, unless it was medically necessary in a life saving measure.

And I never heard of a Junkyard Hero. Did you drive the torch car?

Takes one to know one but you must be the hole in your family because you sound like a little *****.

Bye, bye, Miss American Pie / Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry / And them good old boys were drinking whiskey 'n rye / Singin', 'This'll be the day that I die'".
He probably does drive a Chevy.

All this over the "value" of a Mopar at Mecum......(by the way........these are periods........NOT a coma or comma.....commas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,)

You're right Steve.

But I just couldn't just ignore this and have Alan's work called junk.

I have never met the man but have conversed with him a few times over the years and he is a "stand-up" guy.

He is a Mopar specialist, has an incredible eye for detail and is worth every penny that's spent with him to restore a car.

And... He's a Canadian LOL !!

Cheers!!
