2 sets of heads for sb. can you help?

I want to get in on this topic.

302's are 1.78/1.50 small valve 318 heads from 1985-1992.
They have hardened valve seats, and heart shaped CLOSED combustion chambers, most usually around 62cc chambers.

They are smog era heads and have air injection ports.

The real limiting factor on 302' heads is the VOLUME of the intake port.
The exhaust port is the raised floor W2 style....otherwise good a good candidate for performance with Gasket Matching, 1.88/1.60 valves, and a good exhaust port cleanup.

The 974's are smog era 74, 75, 76' 360 heads.....73-340 Dusters and
74-Duster 360s got 587' heads which did not have air injection ports.
They have the Low Floor exhaust port. They should already be ready for 1.88/1.60 valves.

Either set of castings would be good for any small block mopar with some work.

But I wanna say this....in the condition the heads are in, In the pictures......I wouldn't even pay shipping for them. They look like they were on the bottom of Lake Erie....as boat anchors.

308' casting heads are the best AS CAST set of LA heads there is.

^^ thank for the input. just just have flash rust on them. they have been checked for cracks and all.

here is the second set, which are the 974's
I just bought a set of the 360 heads for my car I paid 175 for the pair I had them checked I installed new springs and they were good to go, My research was in 1973 they made these heads for 360 and 340 with a little lower compression.
