2025 16th Annual FABO NASCAR "Pick 'Em" Game - Are You Ready?

-
Blainy in the 12 car taking Rodgers advice and stay settled, and Reddick in the 45 car, little man can do it if he can stay calm and out of the wreaking that goes on in restarts in turn one and 3.
Good luck everyone, especially my number one son @MeMikieJr

I wonder if Booboo's win today has any relationship to the lawsuit between Nascar and 23XI?

I wonder if Booboo's win today has any relationship to the lawsuit between Nascar and 23XI?

To be clear, Bubba Wallace deserves respect or as much as any driver, respect is earned and him and his team has indeed earned it.
Lawsuits are going on between a bunch of teams all the time

Bubba was due, now maybe he can quit thinking everything and everyone is against him. He got a clean win racing on fumes.
Congrats to him and his team, one more spot locked for the championship.

The Pocono debacle with Bubba and the "noose" painted him in a horrible light with many. Why that was allowed to spin out of control. I guess the old "there is no such thing as bad publicity" deal was the outlook. Our shop overhead doors ALL had "nooses" to aid in opening and closing them. Simple handles for grip, not to hang anyone.

Indy used to have a packed house. Now, like Charlotte, plenty of Sponsor cover tarps on seats and fans dressed up as seats.

Bubba was going to win prior to the red flag. 12xi charter "drama" meh.

Nobody picked #23 Bubba Wallace to win the Brickyard 400 so no race-winner bonus points awarded this week.

Congratulations to 'alsant' (FABO), 'cuda20' (FABO), 'fishmens67' (FABO), 'MeMikieJr' (FABO) and 'Sublime one' (FABO) for all picking the Brickyard 400 Presented by PPG race runner-up #5 Kyle Larson. Each picked up -3 bonus points.

'cuda20' (FABO) had the low net score honor for the week with
-1.5 points.

#19 Chase Briscoe was the race leader at the end of Stage 1, #23 Bubba Wallace was in 2nd place.
#12 Ryan Blaney was the race leader at the end of Stage 2, #5 Kyle Larson was in 2nd place.

As a reminder here's a quick explanation of what the above numbers represent:
(your score before the race) race pick car # (Stage bonus points) (race pick car #) (Stage bonus points) (race pick finish position) (race pick finish position) (race winner/runner-up bonus points) (your score after the race)
Please let me know if I show either your Pole or Race picks incorrectly or if you have any questions.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget to get your picks for the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA, posted before the green flag drops at approximately 3:15 PM EDT (12:15 PM PDT) on Sunday, August 3.

Cup practice session and Cup qualifying schedule:

There is one practice session scheduled at 1:30 PM EDT (10:30 AM PDT) on Saturday, August 2. Cup qualifying for the Iowa Corn 350 will immediately follow practice at 2:40 PM EDT (11:40 AM PDT) on Saturday, August 2.

FYI, the television coverage for the remainder of the 2025 NASCAR season is now on NBC and related cable channels.
Here's a link to all the info...

...and my least favorite lead NASCAR announcer.
Not that guy with the bad accent again?

Aussie Leigh Diffey will be the lead NASCAR broadcast announcer for the remainder of the 2025 season.
He is now an American citizen but I just don't care for his work on the NASCAR broadcasts...I didn't care for it when he did Indycar.

Give me that #20 car Bell, for the pole here please @ocdart .
The Penske team member Ryan Blaney #12 car, and Christopher Bell in the 20 car for the win.

To be honest, it never bothered me eather way who was in the booth, as long as we /I heard the information that we need information on, and history. Give me The man from home improvement if I had a choice

I saw a brief bit of news in an article I read earlier. NASCAR is going to San Diego next season. :realcrazy: I thought, where in heck would they do that? Coronado Island, right across San Diego Harbor from Petfood Park. US Navy has a base there, lots of residential. I'm curious to see what they have in mind.

Oh no not the wanker, shouldn't he be at a cart race somewhere in Europe.
