i have a 1968 plymouth valiant , we did a tune up on this , my unckle helped me on it to make sure it was right , hes a macanic for 30 years . the choke was set to only open a little witch gave me crapy mpg , so we pit all new every thing on it , as for a tune up would go , cap , wires , plugs , condenser, rotor , points , coil , fule pump , ect . re timed it to not be so retarted , . but now the only way i can get it to not die on take off is to choke it , then when its going , i can take the choke off. is this a carb thing , or is there somthing i can do ? and im wanting to put a 2b carb on it any way , but i think this might make it worse , will it ?
