Found a set of Mopar p4007042 forged pistons with a born on date of 88’ so far a quick search I found that they are .030 over 11.5:1 and heavy. Was wondering if anyone had used these gems, if so what where the particulars of your build?
Did you have to run race gas or avgas?11.82 with them back in my street racing days.

Those HCP116 are good pistons. I have them in the wife’s 360 now.I have a couple sets of J’s and a set of 308’s. My CNC 190 junkmasters are not going to work with the closed chambered. I have a 91’ roller and a 71’ that are in need of building but I also have a set of speed pro hcp116 so I got to map out a couple builds.
I bought them with a W5 intake would be nice if I had the heads. Those HCP116 are good pistons. I have them in the wife’s 360 now.
The MP units are good with W2’s. The older W2’s were open chambered.
Run them or sale them to me , I just over in Brooks thanks CC.Found a set of Mopar p4007042 forged pistons with a born on date of 88’ so far a quick search I found that they are .030 over 11.5:1 and heavy. The W5 is a closed chamber offered in 59 & 51 cc’s. muse of the domed slugs is a no go.
What W5 intake?
It’s easy to mod for a standard head.
Then it’s this one below, correct?I think so
The dome fits? I have smaller some slugs that barley squeak in. I do not see that dome fitting. I’ve also not held them in my hand ether. You can use those pistons with W5 heads. You have to mill the quench pad down .018-.020 and they work.
