Hi,I recently purchased a 360 non magnum from Mancini's in there monthly specials they say it is 380hp.Would anyone know part #'s or specs./or a good site for info?I know I have an old catalogue but can't find. Can't seem to find a good info site, everything comes up magnum.THANKS.

The create engines are normally seasoned blocks. (Used) Bored over @ .020. The slugs are normally Federal Mougal hp116 hyperutecic pistons with coated side skirts. The coating is anti scuff.

The cam is a MP roller speced at a advertised 288 intake and exhaust, I forget, I think it is 296. Lifts are in the low .500's.

Heads are stock Magnum.

Intake is a M-1 single plane

External balance I beileve.

The original, old style crate engines were rated at 300hp and 360hp. But they have been out of production since the early-mid '90's when the Magnums came out. You can look at the valve covers, or better yet, the rocker assembly to confirm if they are standard or Magnum heads. The 380hp Magnum was a factory crate engine so perhaps the ad had a misprint. Is there a part #? You may need to ask them about it.

non magnum would be the commando series of crate engines...

i have one of the short blocks, mine has a 509 hydraulic cam in it...it is a 89 roller block.

it is .020 over, with the piston out of the deck around .010.

Thanks,I honestly couldn't remember they were commandos,ad states complete engine,no hp rating(Len or Wes?told me hp due to intake type)Ad said MRE is liquidating the assets of one of chryslers outside engineering facilities. This engine was used for research/testing,supposed to be good. They have a lot of stuff, wish i had more money and cheaper shipping

big, I bought one of them too. Good deals. I havent pulled mine apart yet.

Well I was a little worried ,hopin it's a screamer.I,m wanderin about more cam/intake.400hp.sounds reasonable.

They do reccommend pulling it apart, you know that right? because they dont know how long they have been stored or what may have crawled in and died in there...

Mopar yeah I'll pull all the pans/intake check bearings,if bores look OK in it goes.Which one did you buy, what have you got planned.Nice to meet you buy the way and thanks for your reply

Moper, thanks for the reply, nice to meet you hopin to pull pans intake intake,if things look OK in it goes.

I grabbed a Magnum crate shortblock that had a modified T-Quad intake and a set of the Classic W2s. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm still in my divorce deal, so there's not much cash for exotic stuff right now. But with the work the car needs, I have some time to think about it. I have a std 340 block, I may use the heads on a 416 if I can get some cash together.
