360LA head gaskets for more compression?

My heads are done and I,ll be putting them back on Monday.The guy at the machine shop tried to get the Mr.Gasket head gaskets pt.#1121 but 2 of his suppliers don,t have them.So I guess it,s stock(77)head gaskets!Hope my other stuff shows mon. tues?I,m gonna pull all my old underhood wiring out and replace it with a new harness that I recieved from 65 Dartman and new MSD billet dizzy,6al box,ss blaster coil.This will eliminate any elec. problems in the future.

Well it was like Christmas again today LOL!I went and got my X heads from the shop(redone)and when I pulled in the driveway the UPS truck pulled in behind me.Got my new RPM Air Gap intake,MSD dizzy,ss coil,6al box.Needless to say it been a busy day!I ripped out all my wiring from the firewall block and getting ready to replace it with my new(66 Cuda)harness,which is in way better shape.Got the heads on,but broke a rocker arm hold down bolt(24ftlbs.)Yeah right!Does anyone know the torque for these bolts?It was easy to get out thank god and I had a spare.So tomorrow I,ll be busy doing wireing,my intake,and getting everything back together.Here,s some pics of old and new harness and others!

No more than 17.5 ft lbs with grade 8 bolts or hardened studs and 15 ft lbs for the stock stuff. Make sure you check preload on your lifters since you don't have adjustable rockers.

They want $50.00 per pair though.
