Hey i was wondering wat i should do..i have a 70 duster with disc brakes on it with a 4" bolt pattern..a buddy got me welds that have 4 1/2" bolt pattern and i was wondering if there they make rotors for that year with the 4 1/2 or if theres another yr car rotors that will fit?? :read2:

YES! Get 1973 rotors that swap right on.

really?? somebody told me that they are diffrent sizes!!?? and the wheel bearings dont fit!

I heard they didn't fit either. I have the same setup and looking for an easy solution to get to the 4.5 pattern..

There is an old thread here that details what you have to do to swap on '66 Mustang rotors with a 4 1/2" bolt circle. There was a slight bit of machining needed and the big sticking point was a grease seal, but they came up with one that works. Even has part numbers for the parts you will need. Do a site search with Mustang rotor as the key word. It'll show up.

Humm, I could be wrong on this. Better wait.

need to change to 73-76 a body brakes
upr arms
spindles
caliper brkts
balljoints(can't remember if you need to change lowers)i did all as it was a complete frt end rebuild at the time
bearings
seals
rotors
calipers
m.c.
p.b
brake hoses
might have missed something
not sure it was a few years ago

oh yeah
you will have to change rear axles or have them drilled
unless you want to have 4 1/2 on frt and 4 on rear
