I have a 68 4-speed console for sale, not ready to install but it is what it is, Rockford, Illinois

I've had this console for over 30 years and haven't used it yet so I'm thinking of selling only because of the wanted ad post. The chrome is respectable, ashtray is missing if I recall. Woodgrain decals will need replacing. And yes the fiberboard is still present.

I think AMD makes the console brackets. Getting the factory 4 speed console & needed special "spaghetti" shifter will be costly though. I have access to both & can get pics & price they want for them if interested.

I have everything but the console and brackets, I can get brackets and the console Bennoel has would definitely fill the void.

Since you have AC you're going to have to shop the front of that console off or it might fit if you relocate your AC vents...AC consoles were little shorter

He should be good with "normal" console and factory AC. It's the dealer installed ac(knee knocker) that causes issues. Our 67 with full sized console and factory ac.

Thank you Steve I'm learning everyday I always wondered why they chopped those consoles down like that and everybody would always say those were for AC cars but they didn't tell me they were for the dealership add-on AC cars
