400-440 ID #'s

Hey guys & gals, I found a bigblock mopar motor complete for $150.00 ( still in the car ). Where are the stamped #'s on that engine block so I can correctly ID the cubic inch ? Thanx for your help !

By the alternator is a flat spot on the block it will be stamped on there.
Also a 440 has a wider intake than a 400.

If it's a 400 or 383 it'll be stamped on a flat part of the block below the distributor, it it's a 440 it'll be stamped on a pad (on the block) on the top right corner directly in front of the valley tray. Aprrox 12 inch to the right of the distributor.
