ok - it's for my 65barracuda
minitubed - 315-35-17
9" ford - 3.00:1 ratio - limited slip
904 - tci
hughes 2000 stall converter
---
the engine should be a mix of all day driving and 13sec at the quater mile
---
here are some parts I have allready, but I'm new on chrysler engines - so I'm not sure how these parts will work together
-----
360er block - 0.30 over
408 stroker scat kit (1-98113BI) -- in etwa 10,2 verdichtung bei 65cc ( dish pistons +20.00cc) - intern balanced
edelbrock performer rpm heads - roller rockers
750 holley
M1 mopar single manifold 2.600 - 6.600 rpm
cam: 331/337 @ 050 lift hydr flat tappet (comp cam CL20-227-4)
tti headers
petronix multispark ignition
--------
so what would you change????

how tall are the tires...or diameter?

you got 3.00 gears so ....was wondering

25.75" diameter. Fairly short.

3000 rpm is about 70mph with 3.23 gear and that tire. So with 3.00's even lower rpm.

this is my first mopar engine. And some people over here told me my setup wouldn't work well at the low rpm, because of the cam and the manifold. So the barracuda wouldn't be faster than 14sec on the quater. and for sure that isn't my plan!!!!!
I thought that stroker should have enough torque to get well into the 2500 rpm range without burning my tires down -- and than the engines" main power" will come for the rest of the run --- we don't have pretty good drag strips over here. -- but now I have some timel to change a part before I build my motor.
should I be on the safer side with a higher torque converter, because I can sell my new hughes 2000 for sure if that is my "bad" part.
---- sorry again for my bad english---

I don't think you'll have a problem with that cam in a 408. Stroker's like cams with more duration. Might be even to mild.
A dual plane intake like an RPM Airgap might also be a better choice.

well what you have will work, will you get the most out of that 408?? prob not,but scince you will be driving daily and money doesnt grow on trees,go with what you got & youll be ok the stall2000..eh.... itll work, 2500- 3500 would be best but if you cant afford a new one run the 2000.now the bad news..the gear must go,i know you plan on street driving it so i think a 3.55-3.73 range gear will be your best choice depending how you plan on driving.on the intake small mopars love the eddy air gap & the M1,yeh the air gap may be a litle nicer on the street, your M1 will work.good luck.
