If you guys are seriously still making power and shifting north of 8k on a regular basis you are the Mecca. Shifting North of 8k I don’t need to scrape oil off the crank cuz I will be scraping parts off the track. I fully admit I am simply not in the same league for building HP as some of these guys. I am just a normal guy racing my junk when and how I can, still breaking it when I do something stupid. Holy smokes I can’t even imagine shifting north of 8k. Fun to read tho.

Lots of folks running 9's shifting under 7k rpm's with small blocks.
