440 oil pan to 67 formula s.

Hi guys,
Lowered my 75 model 440 into my engine bay, 67 formula s, originally 383/4 speed, to check for header clearance and oil pan clearance. The oil pan sits right on the centre link. I have a couple of spare oil pans around with numbers #893 from my original 383 that came out of this car and #402 from my other 383 that is for my Jensen interceptor. Anyone know if the 383 ones will fit.?

440 and 383 pans are the same as far as numbered pans go. did you replace the mounts or are you using the originals? the 699 pans seem to work ok

Both the 893 and the 402 will work since you have an original big block "A" body.

The factory BB A-body 893 will work with no issues as it is already properly notched for clearance. I have a 402 in my other BB a-body it too has no issue with pan to drag link idler clearance.. BTW the 893 pan is ueber rare.

Thanks guys, I will fit it up today.
I haven't fitted any engine mounts yet, but those poly loc mounts seem to be the way to go.
