Just switched over to alcohol and am buying a 55 gal drum. What pumps do y'all use? I've seen a lot of the plastic hand pumps which I think would be fine, I don't need anything fancy but I would like the pump to seal the drum when not in use.

What experiences do you all have with this?

And I figure I'll mix klots too lube in the drum. Does that settle? Does it have to be stirred?

Thanx

With respects Sir,

So leaving a metal drum on a pallet in the shop during the dog days of summer is going to ruin it?

I want the pump to seal the drum when not pumping as well. Do they all do that?

Never considered a ground... I'm using a plastic hand pump...into a plastic jug.. Is this still necessary?

I use the plastic ones and always pull it back out so you can reseal the drum. Otherwise it will evaporate.
