NEW GENERIC FORD HEATER VALVE 18495 VACUUM CLOSES 66-09
$16 w/ shipping.
Is your 62 valve vacuum controlled, with vacuum closing the valve, as for later Mopars? If so, you just need to fabricate a mounting bracket. In not vacuum, there are generic cable-operated valves.
Both my 65 Mopars do not have heater valves, since non-factory AC. Don't know if I need it since the AC has a separate blower. If I add a valve, I am thinking of using an electrical vacuum switch to actuate a vacuum valve. There are even some cars that use electric heater valves, like my Mercedes 300D, but they are getting expensive to fix. Vacuum is most common.
