63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

I installed the fresh air intake, what's the thoughts on this? Maybe a better looking hose, or just not at all?
Where did you find the flex hose for your air cleaner intake? I've lost the one I had and need to find another.

What's funny about the large hose that I did run from the air cleaner, I would've expected a lot of suction when placing my hand from the hose attached to the radiator support. The port going down to the exhaust manifold is closed off.

Another thing: would vacuum for the brake power booster come from the lone intake port on #6 intake, or better from base of the carburetor? or does it really matter

I had ordered an electric fan but canceled it. Would like to try a 17" flex fan, just like to know a good one that won't explode. the ones on Amazon on the negative reviews (which I always look at first) say don't buy. The fan I have is just plain noisy as I've mentioned before. No doubt this one moves air, but when accelerating, it's very annoying. So HELP :poke:

Another note, ordered the correct shifter boot

It's close, but not too close. I did order another fan, a flex fan, but won't be until next week:(

Maybe it's an optical conclusion, but that fan looks really close to the rad in that last picture.

Here are the solid mount quiet running fans that I have successfully used.

They cut the air and do not flex, and they move a lot of air and run quiet. Even just by themselves without the shrouds.

Cooling a 440 big block with this type of fan, running quiet and still working good 5 years later.

Here are the type of fans I do not recommend with the flexible blades.

I had bought these seats a long time ago for the front, but they have some flaws, but might be ok for the rear. This is my grand daughter, she's almost as tall as me! with decent backing, carpet, maybe a mini console? thoughts~
The are recliner type, forward and back

Had a 1974 Dart Swinger Slant 6, Factory AC with factory 7 blade solid mount fan and factory shroud.

That sounded like an airplane prop when you wound it up going down the road... noisy.

Sold the car as it was.

Hi Glen, I ordered a flex fan, but won't be until next week. Just something to try;)

With the kids gone, I had a little time to play mockup;) This is going to work. As for a console, the cardboard is 4.5" wide, I might be able to squeeze 5". As I see it, the seats will rest on a sheet of 3/4 plywood(kind of what's underneath it right now). Perhaps dividing the seats from the trunk, a custom fitted sheet of 1/4 plywood covered with black carpet, but I do have black vinyl laying around here. Kind of excited, a bit different from the norm which I like

HI, I had one of the current fronts resting in the back not long ago, it's what kind of gave me the idea. The Miata seat just sits too tall, or it's headrest does. I had these "rear" seats and was either going to toss them, or use them. Keeping these will keep me from having to look for other options. It's rare that I have anyone ride in the backs of my classic cars, and rarely most people don't even look in the back seat area. That being said, these seats will be just fine;)

Can you put a set of buckets that match the front in the rear?

Got a little ways, lunch break  then for the floor after lunch, then assemble our new lat pull~ getting back in the exercising~ have to take care of ourselves too;)

I'm going to have to spend quality time with my sail panels, (not my forte). I found that center console googling. I can make that, just finding the metal cup holder things might be a chore.
I'm quite pleased, now to put together our latt pull;)

Actually Neil, I had bought the sail panels which came with head liner material, but when I look at how the panels were on in their original fashion, I thought they were below the headliner, and that's where the panels are now. Sadly, the new headliner was short of material on the passenger side sail~ towards the front of the right rear glass. I'm going to have to get creative on making it look tolerable.

Gee a while back I suggested 4 bucket seats and look what you did just messing around . Looks great

Hmm if I wanted to I have 2 beaten up Barracuda bucket seats that will need everything to make them match the front buckets and that would be spendy . Besides I already have the rear seat recovered .

So if I got the motivation and just wanted to see what 4 matching seats would look like I might just mock them up someday . Yah right !

While waiting on a fan, carpet, seat belts, brackets, etc, I went ahead and got this package tray out of the way. Also some carpet coming for the back seat area~ I think it's going to look nice;) The package tray is a hardboard I covered with vinyl.
I'll be removing this as to tint the rear glass, I've watched a few videos and confident I can do it myself;)
