Saw pics of finished car in another thread.This is Big Oaks thread so I will let them either post pics or a link to the other thread.All I can say is Ma Mopar needs to look at this for a retro car.Thanks for showing us what it takes to build a drop dead gorgeous car.:prayer::prayer::burnout::burnout:
 
I went to autorama, I saw the car. WOW! I never looked in depth at this build thread until today, very impressive, but that's what it takes to be a ridler award contender. Made it into the great eight, but has some stiff competition.

They do not hit. You can turn it lock to lock. We did bulge the front fenders for clearance.
 
Sweet stuff here, no idea how that car started out or the hidden body mods it received...very cool :prayer:

You might want to sit down before you contact Greening Auto, last summer I inquired about them also, they quoted me about $2400 a set and $3400 for HID...but they are very nice if there in your budget.

Body work is such a huge mountain to me. How do you build a car like that? I dont even know were to start when it comes to a build like this. I have a lot of respect for this.

Thanks. The first and most important thing for us is to have the right customer that is willing to spend the money and have enough trust in us to cut his car and change so many things. Second is you have to have a vision of what you would like the car to be and then have the ability to make it happen. There was a ton of engineering that had to be done on this build because we changed everything on this car other than the door hinges. There was a ton of head scratching to get everything packaged in this build. One of the biggest things was getting the side glass so they would operate. With the vehicle being shortened 2 inches behind the door, the LARGE wheel tubs, and taking the vent window out it was rather difficult to get figured out. The owner of this car is an engineer so he enjoyed watching all of the work that was put into his Dart.
