'66 Dart convertible repair

Okay, here's what I started with.

Not much progress yet. Got the hood open, removed some parts, pulled the fender out a bit and the radiator away from the fan.

It started and ran fine while having water poured into the radiator.

Picked up a donor car over the weekend. Nightmare getting it home. It's been sitting outside for several years without a top, "ran when parked".

I may try to do something with it after I fix the other. I've got a '65 four door to work with too.

Ouch! Looks like quiet a big accident...

Well, FINALLY another '66 Vert in da house... I will be checkin out on your "restoration" process - keep the pictures/updates coming.

Yep, I was looking at the painting posts the other day - great stuff!

Well, got the rest of the bad parts off, straightened the inner fender, and moved the hood over from the donor.

Also got the radiator fixed and was able to drive it around the neighborhood. Seems all good there, so I'm happy about that.

A bit more progress. The back half of the fender from the donor was rotted out, so I cut both in half an welded the good bits back together.
