67 barracuda exhaust manifold factory color

Hi what color did the factory use on the exhaust manifold on a 67 barracuda 273 car

I could be wrong but factory manifolds were not colored and were just cast iron.

Rust. Actually they were red for a few minutes...

The ONLY exhaust manifolds I've ever seen that were evidently factory coated were my Grampa's (and later my Dad's) 54 Jag "drop head couple" XK-120

All Mopar exhaust manifolds were painted on the engines when built, it was not a coating just paint that burned off pretty quickly.

Manifolds were never painted but had engine paint overspray on them. On my resto I painted them Eastwood's stainless steel or silver high temp paint. It is a brush on but no brush marks when cured. Looks like new natural manifolds and easy to touch up.
