I've read through many threads, no luck.

67 Barracuda, original sbp KH disc, QA1 UCA/LCA/Struts, Hotchkis swaybar.

For years ran Cragars, 14x6 3.75 bs, 215/70/14.
Switched to steelies, 15x6 3.75 bs 215/65/15.
When I switched to 15x6 I figured what tires would be same size and they are near identical: Tire Size Calculator

Both sets above just clear the front fenders and have never hit the fenders in all driving conditions.

Have an old school set of Cragar Sparklers I want to use on the front, except they are 14x6 with a backspace of 4 and 1/16th.

Anyone running a front 14x6 with a 4" bs, if so what tire?
Does bringing the rim/tire inward effect handling and/or steering?

If it matters, I have BBP axles in the rear with 15x8 4.5 bs and 275/60/15.

Have you test fitted the Cragars to make sure they seat all the way on the hub and clear the calipers? I had a set of vintage 14" TorqThrusts and they only worked with disc brakes if you used a spacer.

But if they fit on the hub OK, I would think you should be able to use the same size tire, 215/70-14. The interference is almost always on the front outside lower corner. I don't think an extra 1/4 inch to the inside would hit anything.

14x6 with a 4" bs do not fit on the front of a 67 Barracuda with QA1 UCA.

The wheel rubs on the UCA once the wheel is not pointed straight.

Next questions:

Anyone have a 15X7 with a 4.5 on the front?

Will a 215/65/15 fit on a 15x7 wheel?

15X7 with a 4.5 bs will not clear the UCA on a Barracuda.

Every wheel I've tried fits the KH disc, but ones with a bs > 3.75 hit the UCA.

Disappointed about the Sparklers, would require spacers and probably longer studs, but been digging the bare steelies lately.

Anyone running a 14x6 with a 3"bs on the front of a 67-69 Barracuda?

If so, what size tire?

Or would I need longer studs if I used 1/4 inch spacers with the 14x6, 4" bs Cragars on the front?

If any of this help.
I had these SBC Cragar on my '69 for years before I swapped in '74 Dart discs for the drums.........
