68 is one year only. It slides out from the dash unlike the ones that tilt down. I may be able to post a pic later.

The 68 dash with lower dash pads was a one year only, so fecked up lower dash pads, design that the light had to be one of the earliest fiber option applications seen. 68 a-body dash onwwrs pay a premium for small pieces. I sometimes think that they changed to ignition switch for 69 just to level the playing field. The lower pads and all they spent to stay away from or north off seat belt laws went away. Good luck with your 68 model.

Thanks!!!! Now I know what to look for. I have a tilt out one from my 74 dart. I knew there was a difference.
