Seems almost impossible to find reproduction upper and lower rear chrome trim panels for my 1968 Barracuda....
Anyone know where I can buy new ones?
I don't want used unless they are perfect and better than new.
Thanks for the help.

Layson's is only company I know of that make stainless steel new replacements for the upper and lower deck lid mouldings.
Nobody makes new aluminum ones that I am aware of.
IF you find new NOS trim pieces be prepared to pay through the nose for them.
Guessing they could be well over $1,000.

didn`t they just make a run of the stainless trims/ or are they making them again? read yrs ago they were sold out, and higher than a kite to start with.

I'm not understanding exactly what parts these are....
Could someone post a picture of said "trim panels"?

Upper and lower trunk trim panels....these are a pair of our reproduction pieces installed on one of our customer's cars.....

They are bolted through the trunk lid and attached with small nuts. There are access holes in the rear trunk lip to get a deep well socket through to remove.
The top moulding has one set of bolts in the middle of the mounting clip, the bottom moulding has two sets of bolts on each mounting clip.

Thank you! That sounds easy enough!
