'69 Charger R/T

Being as your talking about, what a cars worth. I went to a farm auction a few weeks ago here in west central Mo. They guy had a 68 roadrunner he had owned for 40 years. it had a 383 4 speed was supposed to run good but they didn't start it for the auction. Bench seat car, plain jane no p/s or p/b. needed a complete restoration, had primered front fenders the grill and various parts were in the trunk. One rear quarter had been hit hard and bonded heavily in the past, the bondo was falling off. Rust thru the trunk don't know about the floor boards. heres the kicker it brought $18,000. I couldn't believe it. I would never pay that for one but i guess if someone paid that for it it was worth it to them.

8 grand is top dollar for this car.
If you spend 50 grand restoring it you will have a $50,000 car at best.
Factor in all of the work and the time involved and it just isn't worth it.
Now, if you bought the car and did all of the work yourself, and it was the precise car you have always wanted, then i say go for it.
As an investment, i doubt it would go for 100 grand, you can get a Hemi car for that.
People are still drunk on the Barrett/Jackson thing........
