69 dart outside door handels

I have been looking for outside door handels.I have found a few repossssss.the thing is they have the round ball to atach the rod, mine have plastic clips can i switch the ball and use my clips if so what is involved to do the change over.thankssss PS my dart should be home this week from the paint shop.pics will soon be sent.

If you don't already have your new ones look for the guy who makes the strengthening plates for inside the door he is supposed to have the best handles as well -they aren't all the same we bought for my 69 barracuda from pg classics in nb and they stuck up at a weird angle to the door , the plates are also highly recommended for a driver car as the doors on these cars are so easy to distort

No they were not what was expected at all they stuck up at like a 45 degree angle { maybe not that much } instead of being straight out from the door , this was on a 69 barracuda { we tried them on 2 cars same year and body style } not a dart so I don't know how much difference that makes if any but like I said in the other post theres a guy selling reinforcement plates who has or knows who to call to get the good ones , sorry I didn't talk to him personally but we ordered plates and handles for both cars and I will know for sure later this week when the car comes back from colour sanding and we put them on - I'll get back to you then
