Due to Olga’s health issue I need to part with my 69 Valiant 100 that I purchased last December. The color is a stock F-3 which was redone in 2014 I believe. It has a 360+ .060 so I guess it’s a 371” now. Several have thought that it might have been stricken to 408, but I can’t verify that, one way or not, so no promises there. It does have a pretty healthy cam, but I have no idea what it is. It does sound mean. Modified 904 torque flight with a shift kit in it and beefed up I was told. Rear is an 8 3/4 A Body with 3:55 gears. It also has non power disk brakes. They do stop it pretty good, better than I expected.
Body and under carriage show no rust, as it was definitely under coated. It came out Kentucky or thereabouts. New upholstered stock bench seats, Lokar bench seat shifter. Steering column out of an A Body with no shifter. Looks like freshly chromed bumpers, and I’d say a just about perfect stock 69 grille. Glass is clear in all windows.
I have the trim to make this into a Signet including the vinyl top trim between the rear windows. They’re very nice too. New remote mirror drivers side with a matching non remote for the passenger side. These all aren’t installed, I didn’t get around to it before Olga got worse with the cancer.
It’s a darn nice car. Got stopped many times at our GoodGuys event last month. Trying to leave the Fairgrounds, well it took me a while. There just aren’t all that many late 60’s Valiants around. It’s a really clean little guy. That’s about it, and I’ve probably left out some things. Beings as this isn’t the Dodge Swinger 340, it’s not a $30k car but I’d like close to $20k or close,as I’ve a lot more in it, but let’s talk.
