Thanks for the tip - it's been tough finding sources and info since I started building my clone (yet to see pictures, and probably never will). I think I got the stance where I want it - focusing on trim this weekend. It's been a real "beast" to restore thus far and neighbors aren't too keen on the project either (kids can't wait to go for a ride, tho! . Any input gladly accepted.

I think there's a vin# stamped on the pucker mark under the mud flap.
You have to lift the mud flap to see it.
Thier's another one on the bulkhead by the horns.

Hey guys. I have not said anything yet. Rick is a friend/room mate of mine. I have seen the car and it is NOT what he said it is. I just thought I would clear that up. It is a 340 4spd car and most of what he said about the tag is true except the prototype and anything that said it was a 383 r/t. It did have R/T emblems that someone added. The guy doesn't want to sell it. He bought it new and still has the drive train. The 1/4 isn't that bad. He has a nice parts car for it but just has not gotten around to build it yet. I did take pics but my camra is at home and I am at work. If I think about it, I will post them later. As you can see. I don't get on here much. But thats the update. Sorry to all of you who he fooled/tried to. I should have said something sooner except it was kinda funny to see what everyone said.
