Was thinking of using one of the larger 3/8” vent nipple as a retune line on my modified demon with electric pump and return regulator. I’m not using the vent going back to the engine so I figure I’ll put a hose on that with a filter on the end and tie it up around the top shock mount area, then use the next one for the reture and hook up the rest as usual. Any thoughts?

I maybe don't understand all your post. You need to leave the original line open up front and high for a vent. That IS the vent. The caps are known as "pressure vacuum" and are essentially a bi directional pressure relief, not a vent.

I've never looked at the tanks with the multi line hookup, are you going to try and use one for the return? You need to retain the trunk vapor tank as it prevents siphoning / puking out through the vent up front.

In my opinion, a better way to vent is to modify the filler neck to imitate a 69/ earlier vent, which was simple, and worked.

Yes I’m retaining the vapor canister. I was going to run the return line directly into the second from the left 3/8” nipple on the tank and the corresponding nipple on the vapor canister will be capped. The other 3/8” nipple that goes to canister will be hooked up as normal along with with the two 1/4” nipple. The 5th nipple on the canister that normally runs to the engine to burn vapors will now be just vented out by the upper shock bolts with a filter on the end and.

I think you would be fine, believe the four vents just go to the four corners of the tank. You can probably look through the filler hole and see where they go.

When I put a return line on my 70 Dart I drilled a hole in the sender unit and silver soldered a tube in, your way may be easier.

Make sure those vapor lines are not restricted, AKA orifice, reduced/ crimped, etc

If I understand you correctly, you are not using the standpipe in the trunk but are only wanting to use one of the tank ripples as a return? If so, those nipples go to the top corners of the tank for vapor venting so I would be sure to use the proper nipple that was intended as the fuel return from the standpipe. You don't really want all that return fuel "spraying" on top of the liquid in the tank generating bubbles/foam. Try to minimize it with a return that goes back as low as possible in the tank.
