Looking for an 8 3/4 rear for my valiant. Not really interested in a peg leg but for the right price I would welcome it. Price not an option for a good setup with some steep gears, peg leg rebuildable unit is also welcome. Thank you guys!

Maybe just count the ring teeth and divide it by the pinion tooth count. (41 ring / 11 pinion = 3.73)

The thickness of the ring gear I'm guessing high 3s to low 4s

The ratio or tooth count is usually stamped into the side of the crown gear.
I have some 4.88s left from a former time.

410,430,456,488 with spools all 742. I have clutch or cone units. There is also 391 489 cone here still in a 70 low mile 340 4spd. Duster. I will not ship them.My wife cannot carry them. LOL, north east Pa.
