What on Earth do you do with a car like that? It really needs restoring, but if you did, it'd never be the same again.

Yep you get it mechanically sound and wash it up and drive the wheels off of it.

A good detailing would make a pretty good difference. Needs a good scrubbing under the hood and all underneath.

I learned that from a friend. I had a 71 Honda 100cc Scrambler that I ran the piss out of for a couple years. I would wash it but never got in every nook and cranny. Sold it to a friend who gave it a good detailing and next time I saw it, it looked brand new.

Just goes to show you they are still out there.
Here is one that I have know of for 50 years. Knew the guy that bought it new. Changed hands 4 times in the first 10 years of its life but for some reason never got driven. Has been sitting for 40 years when it was being moved to another building. The owner won't sell. It's his "Someday car".

I keep looking at the pictures. The odometer numbers look pretty straight so I wouldn't think that had been altered. But the speedometer could have been replaced at some time. The more I look at it, the better it looks. If I could look it over, I would look at the grille and park light lenses for tiny pits from sand and such from road use. Also the wheel opening trim for same. And then the windshield. If that is minimal...

Yep. I like it.

Darter, is it my eyes or did the factory use the wrong vinyl top. It doesn't appear to be the wide seam.

Pedals are a fairly good indicator, and they look like low mileage. I like the hell out of it regardless. Thanks Keith.

Can’t remember where on FB I seen this but guy said he or another guy tried to buy it a few years ago....car is supposed to be original, looks like it is and has signs of low miles. But man it need to be cleaned, especially the mold on the interior. Car has been sitting for a very long time so I’m sure it needs plenty of maintenance to get it back on the road. Look at the paint on the brake drums and original tires, it’s in amazing shape!

Can't say, Don't know much about E body cars, I have been a fan of the 65-older Mopars.

Won't be long and there will be a YOUTUBE video of "Will It Run?" or "Demon gets its first bath in 30 years!!!"

GOOD LORD, I HATE IT, WHEN THEY DO THOSE VIDEOS!!!

The way that radiator looks, No Cap and Rusted out the bottom, I would be worried about that motor!!!

Would love to get my hands on a car like that!

I have to ask because I don't know. What makes it a "Mr Norm's" car? Not the sticker I hope. I'm just a born sceptic.
Among other things, the unique three two -barrel induction. Edelbrock intake, Rochester carbs, and that air cleaner that fits so it looks upside down.

And the sticker.

Got it, thanks. Do you know if they came with any documentation other than what would be the receipt the dealership would have provided for the work they did on these special cars? Who would thought back then they'd be so rare and sought after today.

Norm used Holley carbs, but I think GM style cause the mopar ones were hard to get at that time, that’s why the fuel line is on the opposite side. That upside down air cleaner is a Mr. Norm piece and I’m sure the other parts were available too through his dealer. They also “super tuned” and dyno’d many cars they sold and yes....they got the sticker too. Some cars even came with superchargers, but that might be 1972s that got them
