I am replacing the damaged and disintegrating engine bay wiring harnesses on a 1968 Barracuda. Would like to stay as original as possible. Found M&H makes very close reproduction (sold thru Year One). However, the M&H offered harnesses do not have an option with the two A/C related wires that are on my original "Wiper Motor" harness. The M&H harness that is available is the L38446 wiper harness which should be able to accept the addition of the two missing A/C related wires by inserting them into the empty spots for them in the bulkhead plug block (if I can find them or find the parts to make them up).
Where do people source the wires and connectors to add them? or is there another route people take? (again trying to keep it as close to original wiring as possible)
Thanks in advance for any help

You can call MH directly. If Year None doesn't sell it, MH will make it for you. Also you can get MH harness' thru other suppliers than Year None, Van's Auto for one, and there's more. Classic I believe.

I called MH directly before posting this listing. The MH rep said that for the Mopar harnesses, MH only assembles the pieces for Year One who has the tooling and rights to the Mopar parts. MH rep said they get all the pieces from Year One to then make up the Mopar harnesses. MH said they don’t sell direct and they couldn’t provide the pieces so I could add the a/c leads to the one 68 Barracuda wiper harness they do sell.
I will call MH again and specifically ask if they can do a custom one but my sense was from my earlier conversation is that the MH rep didn’t offer when I was trying to find a solution on the phone with them.
So, seems like there are a couple options-
-MH makes a custom harness if they can.
-I buy the MH harness without the a/c wires and buy another one from them for a different car and cannibalize it to use parts to add the a/c wires.
-I contact Evans and see if they have one or can make one.
-I scavenge parts off a old one to build my own. ( I have the original harness with a/c wires but missing one of the ends that goes to the a/c )

When I called MH(spoke to Darryl)approx 2 years ago in regards to our 67 fastback in the middle of rewiring car complete from dash to tail lights, there was a couple reasons.
The cargo light bulb holders, our originals were brittle. They sold me new ones no problem.
Rear harness for cargo light(can't remember whether pass or driver) is not available from Year None and Darryl specifically said they can make it for me no problem, BUT a 6 month wait lol.
Sorry you're having issues, from everything I've read Evans sounds like an awesome Ma n Pa operation.

Called Year One back. Different rep. but same response. They don’t do custom orders for harnesses and don’t sell individual parts for making up your own modified harness.
They said they have never done so. They also said they only make what they have blueprints for from Chrysler.
So struck out with Year One on an a/c harness and both they and MH won’t sell the parts to do so and MH won’t do a custom harness now- maybe they did back in the recent past- idk
I will contact Evans and see what they can do

Update-

Looks like success with Evans!
They have the wiper harness and they have the a/c harness both in stock. Bill said they are technically separate but share the same bulkhead connector.
Getting the word out Evans has your a/c harness!
Thanks to everyone for the help!
