And kudos to several great members. Let’s start with @Rocket. I ported a couple intakes for him last winter. Shortly after a Chevy friend contacted me with some Mopar pistons and Mopar Eagle rods he wanted to sell rather quickly so he could order a new converter. He also had a set of Pontiac Edelbrock heads. Don’t ask my why but Rocket flashed in my head. I passed on the info and then those guys worked out the deal. I sell parts for friends pretty often then I get out of it and let them work out the details. I don’t get or want a cent. Boom a few months later my phone dings and a received 100.00 on PayPal. Guess who??? Rocket. Then just recently Rocket contacted me again about porting a set of Speedmaster heads. I told him I was solidly booked but he said he wasn’t in a hurry. Well his order came and with it another gift. A very nice carb spacer. I had said I’d like to try one last winter and he bought me one. Next @Sublime one. When I was getting what I thought was leg cramps he suggested a salt substitute that I never heard of and said he would send me some. I offered to buy it and send shipping money but he refused. Two big bottles came the other day along with a shirt. Wouldn’t take a cent and shipping wasn’t cheap. Next up and I posted this in the race section. @boosted made and sent me two shirts he made. We became friends over the year during his engine build and our joining up together to get the Victor340 intake issues addressed. Next up and I wish I still had their names two members paid my Gold membership on forabodiesonly a few years back. I don’t expect stuff like this but it was appreciated.
