Did away with the charcoal canister evap system on my 72 Dart and needing to plug/cap the vent line in the fuel tank. What are you guys doing? Using some type of plug, capped off line, or welding the hole in the tank,.... something else.... ? Thanks.

What are you planning on doing to vent the tank because THAT WAS IT

The evap system is good to keep. It absorbs fuel vapors, so they can be burned later. It prevents fuel smell in garage. With the high volatility of modern gas, it is required more now than it was in 72.

Unless it is rusted out I would keep the hard line. You need a vent for your gas tank. I used a piece of fuel line and ran it up by my fender. And still when I completely fill my tank a little bit of gas comes out of it, I never had that problem with the hard line left open under the hood.

Venting it with gas cap. Has worked well for my Coronet. Not keeping the old line. Already gone. This is going to be a pro street, dual quad tunnel ram engine show car only thing and want it as clean and less cluttered in the engine bay as I can.
