Everyone goes trough the fiasco , of installing speed parts, for the first time.... Mine was a 268H Comp cam Blackjack headers( ugh!), on a 67 350 Camaro with a 'Glide( a buddie's car). A fiasco, a an 17 year old kid(1987..}...Share yours, if you dare...

'66 fairlane- headers-1 car garage, 10°, no heat. Couldn't use factory shock type stabilizer and
didn't know if it was necessary (it wasn't). Then picked up a factory cast iron 4 bbl manifold and tried
to use a Carter AFB carb. Couldn't get any parts to tune it. A professional carb rebuild shop wouldn't
even help out. Put a Holley 600 on it, got dist curved at speed shop, ran great. We were proud. Approx
1972. That was my buddy's car and our first hot rodding experience.
