Age maybe ?? But now I want a certain C-body

-
I'm a diehard C-body guy. I've owned so many I can't even remember them all. Furys, Monacos, Polaras, Newports, and even a '67 Crown Imperial. I'm particularly fond of '57 through '69 Fury cars. Currently own only one C-body and that's my 1965 Sport Fury with 383-4, auto console, 8.75 rear that I've had for over 20 years now. It has been my dream car since I was 12 years old. Sadly, it's on the back burner until I get my '68 Barracuda done.

These pics are old but here she is when I was daily driving it to work every day (over 40 miles round trip) and I was still married!

I agree with th 65 Sport Fury. The fastest looking C body built!! I still see some projects on Marketplace but as most on there, all are rough and over priced for what they are. I would love findin the right one. But I still lean toward the 60 61 cars even in 4 door trim.

Convertibles are hot right now, almost as hot as wagons (if you want one, better grab it up soon), but I like a roof over my head.

I'm gathering parts for my unicorn, a '66 Canadian Monaco 4 speed. It's been abused, then abandoned, or vice versa. I'll get it running so I can row some gears before it gets it's beautification. It's got to make it to Carlisle this year.

Convertibles are neat, but the care and proper storage (it snows here ... lol) plus I like a roof over my head as well, I guess I'll always be buying sedans and hardtops

I like almost all the letter series Chrysler, the 65-68 Fury, the fuselage Imperial (I like the 4 doors better), and the hidden headlight fusie Fury among others.

My first Mopar experience was a 67 Newport. I LOVED that car.

One of my shop tenants just had this Fury painted. I like it. somewhat built 383.

I really want this one! Exact same car that I had seen built as if it were a factory muscle car. It would be awesome with a third Gen.

I first got into c-bodies wanting a CHP car. Got one and restored it, great car, not practicle, more a show car and not a driver. Sold it and got a 69 Polara 500 Convertible with the HP 440. Essentially the same car without all the hassles.

The 70 300 is just beautiful! My double black 440 U code HP TNT was optioned with the heavy duty goodies. Trailer tow package, 3.23 sure grip, AC, AM FM search tune and power windows too. I always wanted a HURST. This one has all the underpinnings of the 300H, without all the frills. Smooth ride with the optional full bench seat. Classy. Look into one will love the ride.

I love that car !!! I love that red in the grill with the hidden headlights!

Thank you guys. I have a copy of the original order form. I spoke to the original owner who ordered this vehicle….he is still alive. New Jersey car all its life absolutely rust free. Incredible find.

There was an original owner 300H car about 70 miles from me that was just sitting in a garage . Iwanted that car Soooo bad ! I remember it being a bucket seat console car but I can't find any pics of such a 300H so maybe I remembered it wrong ????
I have owned a 59 Crown Imperial Coupe , a 71 Sport Fury 2 dr with a 360 and a early 70s Monaco Brogham 2dr 440 console car . I pulled the engine and have regretted that ever since.
I also parted out a 69 Plymouth Roadrunner wagon ! Well it was a Sport Suburban but had a 383 Commando engine HD 727 and 3.23 sure grip . Even had the unsilenced air cleaner , windage tray and correct manifolds .
Still have the Fender tag .
I feel so guilty ....
