after waiting a week or so i put my lock in my floor shift steering wheel. had to change shafts.als heater core next

yes used 600 wet sanded and used a silver and satin black it not perfect but it,s not a number car. als were is mad beach?
 
lots of beer will help! i need to spend more time on the car. thinking of taking a week of betweed jobs to get motor in and get running till i have more cash . cause cash is good.
 
got to say thanks to my buddy john he hooked me up with some screw in plugs for the intake and a new cam plug so soon as i get off here i will be in the back tapeing off the engine then cleaning it off, to paint:cheers:. the neighbor hoods going to rock today. still got half a pot of coffee to drink first then the famly wants breakfast.

well after all day i got the the first coat of engine paint on . another coat and bell housing is going on. mybe it might go in next week end:cheers:

two of my friends came over this morning . had trouble with the trans going in bell houseing but after than sliped right in no scraces. here what it looks like. get-r-done

Nice snap-on fender bibs. I bet your demon is happy to have an engine after 10 years of emptiness! I bet even the lil man in the picture is filled with anticipation and excitement to hear it fire up! =D
 
Don't rush it, the work you have done at your own pace has been great. Just work at your pace and if it gets finished in time, that'd be really cool, but if not, then you have more time to make it an even more awesome car before next years mopar nats. Haha, but you are seriously doing a bang-up job and I have never seen a Demon that color, its so unique. Im sure it'd be the only one at the nats that color
 
got the linkage hooked up had to rebuild my hurst shifter. just took in apart and clean and lubed it seem to shift well. now i have to get the rest of the stuff hooked up.just got to bear down and do it.

Great job Al, thats a really nice Hurst shifter. Do they make that one anymore? Cuz I want one now!! lol
