Been planning on using a Carter Street Super fuel pump and now I want to order it and they’re sold out everywhere. Could you all help me pick out a pump that you have experience with?

Going to be Running a 750 4160 requires 5-7psi

Street Super is 5.5-7.5 psi-sold out

Their Muscle car pump m3672 is 5.5-6.5 and was thinking this would be a good alternative?

Fresh 440 .030 over, 9.2:1, 488/480 235/243 roller

Big Block, right? Summit shows the Carter Super Street M6903 for 156.99 to ship on June 17-I would imagine that means 2025. I ordered a hardened oil pump drive from Summit last Feb 2023 and still haven't received it. The Carter Strip pumps are available on Rock Auto for generally 20-30 dollars less the Summit or Jegs. The Carter Strip BB pump m4862 for 120.79 on Rock Auto compared to Summit's 148.99.

Look at the Mancini website.

Also consider Edelbrock. They used to have a lower PSI offering.

Holley Keith Dorton 110 Mechanical pump used to have decent regulation. If they haven't changed it, that will work.
Or a factory replacement.
Primary factor on fuel flow at high rpm is horsepower. Mechanical pump's ability to supply will increase somewhat with rpm - which is a good thing.
Second factor is restriction. 7 psi is what the pump maxes out to with the carb inlets closed, which is zero flow.
Less restriction, more flow into the bowl.

Thanks all! Going to roll with the
