I'm Installing a 6.4 in my 69 Notchback. I purchaced an American Autowire Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body a while back. P/N 510603.
This appears to be the most complete kit you can buy if you want to update nearly every electrical component in an A-Body. Fuse box - wiring - sockets - plugs - most everything. This kit replaces the Mopar firewall bulkhead connector with a fuse box / larger bulkhead connector by enlarging the original square hole. Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body

The Dodge Whisperer recently installed one

I'm using controls from Hotwire with a Mopar drive by wire pedal. https://www.hotwireauto.com/chrysler-harnesses Awesome Product!

USCT motorsports makes a super clean and adjustable Drive by Wire pedal Bracket that utilizes the factory gas pedal mounting holes..

This pedal bracket actually creates space around the existing bulkhead plug when compared to any other way to attach it to the firewall.

This American Auto Wire Kit uses a fuse box that measures nearly 6"x5" So its not going to work with a drive by wire pedal.

Dead Dodge Garage installed the E body version of of this kit
The Fun really starts a 10 minutes. This is an E body the lay out provides way! more room than an A-Body
On an A-Body the 2 components over lap. Even if you remove The USCT Bracket and could get the Drive BY Wire Pedal to levitate it would still be directly in front of the fuse box making it useless.

I asked everyone involved before purchasing this if it would work and all were completely honest, they didn't know. Unfortunately for me I purchased the Harness a couple years ago from one of big speed shops in Ohio. Its continents are un opened. I will be listing it for sale at a discount.

So to set the record straight don't try to use An American Autowire Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body with a drive by wire Pedal

Put your original throttle pedal back in and get an early truck hemi (2003-2004) bellcrank/TPS box that is cable-driven. The drive cable gets attached to your gas pedal, and the box (which can be mounted anywhere that's convenient and out of the way) then plugs into your harness. If the plugs aren't compatible, Sublime sells and adapter for the plug. This should take care of your fusebox clearance issue.

The interesting part is that this box can also be modded to accomodate a second cable to control kickdown on full-automatic legacy transmissions (904/727).

Thank You, I was aware of the bellcrank option. My cruise control plugs into the DBW pedal. Maybe a work around for that as well, but I'm not in love with fusebox location.

Why not consider moving the fuse box location? I’m using that same AAW kit on my Australian RHD Valiant Hardtop and mounting it through the firewall just wasn’t an option so I made up a bracket to mount the fuse box under the dash by the steering column. Wire lengths are more than generous with this kit so I’d think this should afford you some flexibility if you’d like to explore this possibility.

From Hotwire.
Between the battery and PDC you see the bellcrank apps. Hot wire has a conversion plug if you need it. I used my original gas pedal and a longer cable.
I used the hot wire set up with a little modification of the relays. I am interested in that wire harness if you sell it.

Thank you! I am considering doing that..
Here’s an image of the bracket I designed, I can send you a copy in .dxf format if you’d like to get one made. If you’d like this just send me a direct message advising what your email address is and I will send it as an attachment.

Cool Thanks! Nice set up!! What are you running for an air filter?

Inside front passenger fender 6" cone with a 4" collar for mounting. I snagged that idea from some rustang forum. I don't have a pic handy but I can get one this evening.

The air intake pipe I made from the stuff they use to wrap up a broke arm. I made a template from card board tube and plumbing 90's with bell ends cut off, wrapped it once, slit it to remove template, super glue together, put a piece of metal for air sensor, wrapped it again, painted it to seal off any small holes. Took me 2 times to get it right. I always get asked about that pipe.

I had a similar air cleaner setup, on a completely different car. Built a box around it with an inlet/screen facing forward.
It definitely helped, kept it clean, forced air maybe.
Only thing I didn't like was possibly picking up hot road surface air, but definitely cooler than engine compartment air.
