Have a 09 Road King. First new bike ever. Wanted one for a long time. And definitely can't ride a crotch rocket as I look like a monkey humping a football.

Nice to see so many other riders on here.
I prefer sportbikes myself, since I like my cars and bikes to be polar opposites of each other.
But in my mind riding is riding, and all riders, be they Harley guys or crotch rocket pilots, have way more in common with each other than someone always stuck behind the wheel of a car.
I'm currently between bikes right now, but at least I can share of pic of how my gear held up.
I still can't figure out how my jeans held up so well.

1995 - FXRS - Neat bike had an air ride front end

Ive had 3 bikes. '01 Volusia, '2000 Harley 883 Sportster and a '05 Harley Superglide.

1942 kuckel and a 1971 night train the rare red white and blue boat tail seat Mod.

OK, as long as you don't mind old Kawasaki riders joining in, here's my '79 KZ1000ST. Bought it brand new. Rode for a few years, then it gathered dust in the garage for almost 20 years as the kids were growing up. Brought it back out when gas hit $4/gallon.
The daily commute is now both more fun and more fuel efficient!
