I pretty much lived at this place back in the 80s. Best place ever. Gilman St. in SF was modeled after it. True story.

wow that place looks like it was alot of fun! our local scene was doing a place we called THE LONG BEACH WAREHOUSE for about 3 1/2 years, we had some amazing shows there. i would say it was the best show space in so. ca. at least in the last 15 years or so. looks like we owe some thanx to the ANTHRAX, for our diy roots! UP THE PUNX!

Small world! What at band were you in?

I knew Huck a little, he had a 72 Demon and a 68 Charger. He used to tend bar at Sweetwater in Bklyn. where I spent a lot of time in the late 90s. Id see him at the drags too. Have not seen him for a long time. We were just acquaintances though, he was better friends with the rest of the band.

Some of my favorites. I was even in a ska core band over the summer(drums). We played some punk stuff.

I can't believe noone mentioned the Beastie Boys. Sure the record company producer changed their format early on, but to me they will always be fitting the acronym of their name (Boys Entering Anarchistic States Towards Internal Excellence).

And I still ride a skateboard.

Cool, I'm not the only one who knows this, then.
I'm not myself much of a punk fan. I just became exposed to it during my early skater years.

skateboarding & punk rock ehh?
