anyone running an airgap?

anyone running an air-gap on a small block? I'm wondering if you have had trouble with your air cleaner fitting under your hood... getting ready to do some stuff, need to know if I should start looking for a new air cleaner too.

Mine clears just fine on 75 valiant. with drop base air cleaner with 2 1/2 element.

I run one with a drop base 3" element and it just BARELY clears my hood.

I had clearance problems with the Mopar air cleaner. I got a 2" tall filter to get the clearance.

When I had a 14" drop base chrome air cleaner it cleared with no problem
