Does anybody make the full rear quarter for a 68 barracuda? Maybe that's my question... Who makes the best quarter panel? Thanks in advance...

The rear quarters you see advertisd all over ALL come from Tiawan and are reported to be thinner than origonal. If you (like me) just need the patch panels to fix the lower part rusting get on the phone to Lawsons and BUG THEM to get started making those. I have and according to Rick they MAY make them after they get the tooling worked out but won't be until next spring at the earliest.

Hey Rick, you reading this? We want body thickness patch panels!!!

I have heard good things about AMD. I used Goodmark on my 69 and they seemed like a quality panel but they are all just quarter skins no one is making full quarters.

Here is a link to where I bought right and left 67 cuda quarterskins yesterday. I called and verified they were in stock first. They might have 68s in stock as well.

Just so you know AMD doesnt make Quarterskins and niether does Goodmark. Goodmark sells them but gets them from another company. Let me know how things turn out.
Good luck
Andy

I thought AMD was going to start making them for our Cuda's this year .

I talked to them at Carlisle - They showed me pix of the molds and should be getting the first PRE-PRODUCTION run in a few weeks - they are in progress, bt they said it could be months before it is available,

FYI

There is a members restoration thread here somewhere about poor fit quarter skins. He details what areas he had to alter, etc..
I bought mine fro Year One about 8 years ago. I don't have a clue who made them but they are a perfect fit. I haven't compared the material thickness with a micrometer either.
I can tell you a loose panel will feel flimsy in your hands. The perimeter bolts and welds make it rigid.
I once watched Taurus station wagons on the assembly line in. That body was flimsy and swayed left and right before the side glass was glued in.
