I have been sort of looking for a 69 Valiant 2 door post off and on for the last couple of years. Why do they seem to be few and far in-between

Because, They made more of them in 4-doors. And in the last five years their popularity has gone way up and their is a lot of folks re-storing them. I had a slant 6 2-dr I sold 3 yrs ago I wish I held onto. I'm just now finishing up a resto on a 273 model.
Their is a '69 on E-Bay for sale. I really like the little cars myself. 67-69 way cool.
69 even neater. just my opinion.

Yes the one on Ebay looks like a fairly nice 69 but it's way out in Washington state

It's because they aren't a Cuda, Dart, Duster, Demon, et al. For the longest time they were just cars that got used and tossed or parted out for the "Cool" cars.
They're still out there, just be patient.

Got a note on mine yesterday at the grocery store asking me to sell.

'69 is the best year for the 2 door post Valiants in my opinion.
I've had mine for about 8 years now and really like it.
They're around, just keep looking.

There was one for sale at the nats last year... They come up when your not looking. I looked for a 68 valiant for 2 years before falling for my 65 dart, now that I have it I keep seeing 68 valaiants popping up... Ill keep my eye out for you though

That's the ticket right there. Tell yourself you don't want one and would rather have a cherry 78 Camaro instead. Those Valiants will be falling out of the rafters....

I feel the same way about 1968 Valiants. I settled for a Scamp that I am putting a 68 front clip on. :)

There is a smoking hot '64 Valiant 6cyl for sale here in BC for $5000

Thanks and yes I have seen your car before on craigslist but that's one of my problems when I find one it's to far away

I LOVE that 69 grille on a hard top!

There was a nice, clean /6 69 for sale at Valdosta this past weekend.

Shiny light green metallic, but someone was in the middle of a color change to what looked to be B5 blue. interior and roof were B5, rest was G8 (?).

3K OBO.

Might try Valdosta CL.

opps sorry I'm holding on to the 68,I have a 66 for sale--2 door 318 car

Found one going to Lexington Kentucky Friday the 7th to get it and it's right up my alley --- in pieces so I can do it the way I want - Texas car that's been media blasted and painted but the Pearl White may have to go
