Oh, no.....Don't go away. Think of all your fans that will be disappointed and go on to lead sad and miserable lives! Not really...
just want to know what's out there and current!
Otherwise if i can't ask that here, I'll just delete my account and take this web site out of my "favorites folder....
does RMS even do early A front suspension anymore?
I'm gonna turn into a gutter drunk. I swear.Oh, no.....Don't go away. Think of all your fans that will be disappointed and go on to lead sad and miserable lives!
A big part of classic car ownership is feeling what it was like back in the day. Today so many have no desire to have that feeling
Ya, I get it. But, back in the day allignment specs were based on that bias tire, thats what we and till the radial came out. It work fine for that type tire. Bias tires were fine, we knew nothing else. We also understood our machine and its ability to stop and paid attention. But I have always lived in the sticks where there was NO traffic.you are 100% correct. i have no desire to feel our dart with shitty alignment specs, shitty brakes snd shitty bias ply tires.
I was actually looking for this same info because I was looking to do a GEN 3 Hemi swap into a '65 Cuda. HDK/RMS/Bouchillon Performance all feel like $5K is where the pricing for Double A-arms, tubular K members, big disc brakes, and coil overs should be. I was actually looking into fabricating my own set-up using traditional hot rodder components that are more readily available and a co-worker's Plasmacam, my tube bender, my welder(s), and a tape measurer.
If I was making the swap, it would be either a HDK or RMS. both have given great support on other items and have good track records in my book.
for me the old mopar stuff just works.
I wonder IF the OP has ever driven an old car, or old Mopar?
e.
How many time have we seen people afraid to drive their oldMoparanywhere as it had points/condensor?????
BUT we had good parts NOT made in China!!!!!!!Not a single person I knew that had any of the then NEW electronic ignition systems in the mid 70s didn't have a spare module behind their seat
...Umm YEAH I have and still do, and it fkn SUCKS! I'm no spring chicken to "old" Mopar!
Precisely the main reason I want modern suspension technology in my currant build...

Gerst Suspension is in your neck of the woods, but I don't know if Carl offers an Early A setup. If I were putting one in MY 65 Barracuda, it would be HDK....all the way! @HemiDenny
Gerst shows one on their website, but when I called to inquire about it, I could sense a "deer in headlights" look through the phone...Gerst Suspension is in your neck of the woods, but I don't know if Carl offers an Early A setup.
